Timeline of Muddy Saloon

  • 1962 - The Muddy Saloon was Muddy Grade School, then West Junior High.
  • 2003 - The school closed and was then used as a storage facility until 2011.
  • April 2011 - Building purchased by Kent and Julie Probst at auction.
  • June 2011 - Probsts began construction on the bar, grill, and 43 apartments.
  • November 2011- Muddy Saloon and Latona Apartments opened.
  • May 2015 - Brianne Fehrenbacher hired while she attended Lakeland College.
  • August 2017 - Bri became manager while pursuing a degree in business mgt.
  • May 2019 - Bri purchased the bar. 
  • October 2019 - Began renovations on bar and banquet room.
  • November 2019 - Began demolition of 43 rooms to create event space.
  • April - May 2020 - Patio was remodeled and purchased tent.
  • Aug. 2021 - Renovated main hallway, event-side restrooms, and built bar in event space.
  • April 2022 - Started new restrooms.
  • May 2022 - Started kitchen addition.
  • July 2022 - The patio awning was completed.
  • September 2022 - The main bar in event space was finished.
  • October 2022 - Updated the front of the building.
  • November 2022 - The kitchen addition finished.
